334 Sporthorse Stud is an up-and-coming warmblood stud farm based in Nottingham Road, Kwa-Zulu Natal. Named after our founder, Govett Triggol’s beloved mare, Wolke 334, the farm boasts some of the best bloodlines in the industry, carefully selected and bred for their exceptional jumping abilities and athleticism.
Our team of experienced professionals is dedicated to producing top-quality show jumping horses, from the moment of conception through to their successful careers in the ring – for both the local and international market.
Our approach to breeding top quality showjumpers is multi-faceted, which is why nutrition is also one of our top priorities. Our horses graze on over 1000 hectares of pasture planted for the best nutritional outcomes. Sport horses require a high level of energy and nutrients to maintain their athletic performance and overall health. The best pastures provide a rich source of essential nutrients that are necessary for the horse’s optimal growth and development. Additionally, good quality pastures promote proper digestion, which can improve the horse’s immune system and prevent common health issues. In order for sport horses to perform at their best, they need access to the best possible nutrition, which is why feeding them on the best pastures is essential.
At 334, we don’t believe in gambling with genetic possibilities but by breeding legendary sureties. At 334 our goal is to breed world-class showjumpers by using proven mares with top pedigrees that also include familial “black-type”.
Our methodical breeding approach is leading to highly successful foal outcomes, which can be attributed to our carefully selected proven mares who have all competed at 1.40m and above, many of which have jumped and won at World Cup level.

At 334 our goal is to breed world-class showjumpers by using proven mares with top pedigrees that also include familial “black-type”. We have chosen to make use of a donor/surrogate mare program. Our carefully selected donor mares have competed at 1.40m and above, and ‘donate’ embryo’s which are then transferred to our surrogate mares who are maternal superstars.

Our 334 stallions are in a class of their own. We have a base of 9 stallions, all of which are licensed with the Holsteiner Society, 3 of which are Premium Licensed.
